Ewart Communications works with people at all levels from Boards to frontline staff to share knowledge and skills, build capacity, encourage best practice and influence debate. Ewart Communications also works with groups to place their agenda within a human right context. We work with clients to invest their scarce resources to gain maximum benefit.
We have worked with a wide range of groups including

We have worked on projects including:
- Making human rights relevant surveying current practice and services and making recommendations if needed.
- Making the connection between human rights and public policy priorities undertaking research and offering analysis.
- Building Knowledge Base contributing to working groups, writing briefings, undertaking research, participating in team meetings and reassuring clients they are on the right track!
- Skill Development for governors, leaders, staff and volunteers and developing capacity within civil society.
- Training/Events we offer bespoke training/events and deliver standard training programmes and organise events to meet particular needs.
- Showcasing Best Practice from Scotland and other jurisdictions.
- Empowering people to exercise their human rights you don't have rights until you know about them and even then you need help to give them effect.

- Making the connection: "Delivering Human Rights in Scotland" - a survey of 43 public sector organisations on the strategic role of human rights in the public sector. Commissioned by Scottish Association for Mental Health, Amnesty International, Scottish Women's Aid and Scottish Refugee Council

- Building Knowledge Base and Skill Development: Working with NGOs to participate in the international human rights Treaty review process including attending UN hearings in Geneva on UK compliance e.g. on UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and on International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR). Working on the Council of Europe human rights monitoring process e.g. on the Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities (FCNM)
- Making human rights relevant through events, training and capacity building: delivering training and providing briefings for Greater Glasgow Training Consortium on 'Violence Against Women and Human Rights'.
